Help the American Cancer Society finish the fight against cancer.
Join us at our 36th Annual Anchorage Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Hotel Captain Cook for a one-of-a-kind evening featuring multiple courses of refined cuisine each prepared by a different Alaskan chef and perfectly paired with premium wine delivered in healthy pours. Spectacular live and silent auctions, fun “games of giving”, a keynote speaker sharing their unique cancer story, mingling, dancing and much more make this a night you’ll not soon forget.
The American Cancer Society is working to finish the fight against every cancer in every community. This gala event raises funds to invest in life-saving cancer research, educational outreach on cancer prevention, and programs and services for Alaskan cancer patients and their families, such as rides to and from appointments, and flights and lodging for those who require treatment far from home.
We hope to see you there!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Anchorage Wine & Food Festival might look different this year but our passion and commitment to fight cancer is unchanged. The health and safety of all our guests and participants is our number one goal. Currently we plan to host our event entirely in person, and if any changes are made to that model our sponsors and ticketholders will be the very first to know. We will also share those changes here and continue to update them based on our unique needs. Please review our COVID-19 Waiver.
If you are feeling sick or have been recently exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19, you should stay home. People who have underlying health conditions or taking medications that weaken the immune system, should talk to their healthcare provider before attending large gatherings. We appreciate your understanding and if you are unable to attend, we hope you will continue to support our mission by donating.
For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
